CLASSIC Tour - four nights
DAY 1
Depart Edinburgh at 1400hrs and travel north across the magnificent Forth Railway Bridge, one of the greatest engineering achievements of the Victorian Age. Afternoon tea is taken whilst travelling through the Kingdom of Fife. Disembark in Keith at the Stratisla Distillery, home to Chivas Regal, for a traditional Scottish ceilidh.
Rejoin the train for an informal dinner.DAY 2
Travelling west, board a motorcoach for a trip to the picturesque Glen Grant distillery. Then onto Plockton, one of the most beautiful villages in the Highlands. Here choose either to explore the village or tour the Isle of Skye, famed for it's breathtaking Cuillin mountain range. Return to the Kyle of Lochalsh for a formal dinner on the train and meet a Highlander who brings to life the stories of Scottish heroes.DAY 3
Travel by motor coach to Eilean Donan Castle in its dramatic lochside setting. Depart Kyle crossing the Caledonian Canal and continue to Carrbridge to disembark for a visit to Ballindalloch, one of Scotland's most romantic castles and home to the Macpherson-Grant family since 1546. A formal dinner is served on board followed by entertainment in the Observation Car.DAY 4
Disembark in Aviemore for a visit to the Highland Wildlife Park set in 260 acres of beautiful Strathspey countryside. Rejoin the train in Kingussie before lunch and afterwards visit Glamis, the childhood home of the late H.M.Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, rejoining the train in Perth. Enjoy an informal dinner whilst travelling to the historic town of Stirling dominated by its magnificent Royal Castle.DAY 5
Breakfast is served at 07h30 before leaving Stirling to arrive in Edinburgh at 09h35.Price per person £2,590 based on two people sharing. Single supplements on request.

DAY 1
Depart Edinburgh at 1400hrs passing Gleneagles journeying towards Perth. Disembark for a visit to Glamis Castle, seat of the Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, and childhood home of the late H.M.Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. Rejoin the train and travel along the splendid coastline of the Kingdom of Fife, Stirling with its magnificent Royal Castle dominating the surrounding countryside. After a formal dinner there is entertainment in the Observation Car.DAY 2
Depart Stirling during breakfast returning to Edinburgh around 0945hrs.
